Building your page sections

Changing what's on your pages

Every page on your site is a stack of sections — a hero, your music, your shows, a mailing-list signup, and so on.

The easy way: just ask Roadie

You don't have to arrange any of this yourself, and you don't have to be on any particular screen. Roadie sits in the corner of every dashboard page — open it from wherever you are and say what you want in plain words:

"Add a photo gallery to my about page."
"Put my tour dates above my music."
"Take the video off my home page for now."
"This intro doesn't sound like me — make it shorter."
"Add a photo of a packed club to my gallery."

Roadie shows you exactly what it's about to do — including which page it's about to change — and waits for your yes before anything happens. If you don't mention a page, it assumes your home page and says so, so you can catch it before it saves. If you don't like the result, say so and it'll try again — that back-and-forth is the editor.

A couple of things worth knowing:

Hiding is never losing. When Roadie hides a section, the content stays put — say "put it back" any time, and it comes back with everything still in it.
New sections start empty and stay private. Ask for a gallery and it won't show to fans until there's a photo in it — so Roadie will offer to fill it right away.
Some words live elsewhere. Your bio, your shows, and your releases aren't page content — they're your profile and your catalogue, shown on the page. Roadie will say so and offer to change them at the source instead, which keeps every page in sync.

The hands-on way: the section builder

Prefer to arrange things yourself? Every page card on the Pages screen has a quiet Advanced link that opens the section builder. It has three parts — a list of your sections on the left, an editor for whichever one you've picked in the middle, and a live preview of your page on the right (a phone/desktop toggle, updating as you type). On a smaller screen the preview tucks into a pull-up drawer.

Everything below describes that builder. You never have to use it — it's there for when you want the fine control.

Three kinds of section

Not every section works the same way. The little dot next to each one tells you which kind it is, and the editor changes to match:

Authored (gold dot) — your own words and your own media, living right in the section. A hero, a free-text content block, a video, a press quote, a photo gallery, your EPK press photos, a list of links. You type the words, upload the photos, and add the links right here — and each one belongs to that section on that page, so an "About" gallery is its own thing, separate from any other.
Connected (grey dot) — pulled live from elsewhere. Your bio, your music, your social handles, your booking contact. There's nothing to type here — the section shows a quick summary and an "edit →" link that takes you to where the real content lives (your Profile for bio/booking/social, Releases for music). Change it once there and every page that uses it stays in sync.
Options (blue dot) — pulled live, with a few choices you control. Shows and merch work this way: the dates and products come from where you manage them, but you decide things like whether to show the full list or just a preview of the next few.

Photos, press photos, and links

A few authored sections hold media or lists, edited right in the section:

Gallery — drop images in (or tap Add photos), drag them to reorder, and remove the ones you don't want. Already uploaded a shot somewhere else? Tap Reuse my uploads to drop it into this gallery too — no need to upload it twice. Each gallery is its own — add as many as you like across your pages. Leave it empty and the section quietly hides.
Press Photos (for your EPK) — the same photo upload, plus a download link so bookers and press can grab your shots in one click. Paste a link to your own ZIP or folder, or leave it and we'll bundle your press photos into a download automatically.
Links — build a list of link rows, each with a label and a web address, in whatever order you want. Leave it empty and the section quietly hides.

Photos upload straight to your site (no separate "media library" to manage), and everything saves as you go.

Adding, removing, and reordering

Add a section — tap ＋ Add section at the bottom of the list and pick from the catalogue. Some sections (like Music or your Bio) can only appear once on a page; once they're added, they're greyed out in the list.
Reorder — grab the ⠿ handle and drag a section up or down. On a phone, drag works the same way, or use the ↑ ↓ nudges. The order in the list is the order on your page.
Hide a section — tap the eye to hide a section without deleting it. Hidden sections stay in the builder but don't show on your live site.
Remove — open a section and choose Remove section at the bottom of the editor.

Everything saves on its own as you go — there's no Save button to remember.

Sections that hide themselves

Some sections are smart about empty states, so your live page never shows a broken or half-empty block. The editor spells out the rule for each one at the bottom — for example:

Shows hides when you've got nothing upcoming.
Music hides until you've published at least two releases — and a missing cover becomes a clean monogram tile, never a broken image. Once you hit two, Music appears in your site nav automatically.
Tip jar hides until you've connected payments, so fans never hit a dead button.
Hero never fully hides — if you leave the title blank it falls back to your artist name.

So it's fine to add a section before you've got content for it; it simply waits until there's something to show.

Managing your pages

The Pages screen is home base for everything page-related. You'll see two groups: System pages (Home, Connect, About, Shows, EPK, Store, Fan Club — built in, can't be deleted) and Custom pages (the ones you build from sections). Your Music page isn't a card here — it's built from your releases, so you manage it from Music and it appears in your nav on its own once you've published two. Each card shows a quick summary and a few controls:

Auto / Always / Hide — where the page shows up in your site's nav. Your own pages get this too: set one to Always and it joins the menu after your built-in pages, in whatever order you dragged them. (Auto does nothing for a page you made — there's no rule we could apply to it — so pick Always or Hide.) Always keeps it in the nav, Hide keeps it out, and Auto lets the nav adapt to your content — e.g. your Store stays hidden until you've got products live, Shows hides itself when nothing's upcoming, and Music appears automatically once you've published two or more releases. (Home is Required — it's always there and can't be hidden or deleted.)
Drag to reorder — grab a card by its handle and drag it up or down. That order is your nav order, and your footer follows the same order automatically. Home stays anchored as your home link; everything else moves freely.
The action link opens the right tool: Advanced opens the section builder for a stack page, Customise hub → opens your /connect editor, Manage store/club → opens those, and View ↗ opens the live page.
Custom pages rename in place (click the name), and have their own Delete. There's no separate page-settings screen — it's all on this card. One thing to know: a custom page doesn't appear in your site's nav yet. It's live at its own URL, so link to it from a section, a button, or your /connect hub — that's how fans reach it for now.

To make a new page, type a name in the New page box (you'll see the web address it'll live at) and hit Create.

On your phone

The builder works the same on mobile: you get the section list, tap a section to open its editor full-screen, and tap ← All sections to come back. Drag-to-reorder works with a press-and-hold on the handle.
