Adding shows and tour dates
Your show listings live in the Tour dates area of your dashboard. Add a gig and it appears on your site and your /connect hub automatically, with upcoming dates sorted soonest-first.
It also turns up on your phone. Every date you add here gets a matching entry under Gigs — the private side, where the load-in time, the contact, the deal and the advance live — and that's what the Sonic Bloom app works from at the venue. Add it in either place and the other one knows: if you happen to enter the same night twice, we join them rather than leaving you with two of everything.
Taking a date off your site doesn't cancel the gig. The listing goes, and the production record stays with its deal and its history intact — it's just no longer public.
Adding a show
For each show, you enter:
- Date
- Venue name
- City
- Ticket link (optional) — the URL where fans buy tickets
That's it. Past shows drop off the upcoming list on their own, so you don't have to clean up after a tour.
How tickets work
Sonic Bloom doesn't sell tickets for you — and that's on purpose. You almost certainly already sell tickets somewhere (the venue's box office, Eventbrite, DICE, See Tickets, a presale link), and that's where your fans expect to buy.
So instead of forcing you into a new ticketing system, we just link out. Paste your ticket URL into the show and your fans get a "Buy tickets" button that sends them straight there. No new account for them, no commission for us, no double-handling for you.
If a show doesn't have a ticket link yet — say, a free set or a house show — just leave it blank and the listing still shows up.
Tips
- Add shows as soon as they're confirmed. A site with upcoming dates looks alive.
- Use the same venue/city wording fans will recognize.
- Update the ticket link if your presale URL changes.
